Hey guys! Hope you all are doing well. I finally came up with an idea for the next blog. I am going to suggest 10 Movies You Should Watch. Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic came into being. It has helped us in watching some really good movies. The Movie List here has all sorts of genre: action, thriller, feel-good and one inspiring movie. All the movies in here are my favorite movies and I can watch them as many times as I want. If you do have any movie suggestions then I would love to watch them. For your suggestions: scroll down to the comments. I would have loved to suggest hundreds of movies but I had to short-list it to 10 great movies you should watch if you haven’t yet. I will also name the platform that they are streaming on right now. If you have watched some or all of them then I suggest you might consider re-watching these classics.
- Die Hard:
Die Hard (1988) is an action movie starring Bruce Willis as John McLane. A New York City cop is stuck inside the Nakatomi Plaza and his wife taken hostage by a German terrorist named Hans Gruber (played by Alan Rickman). To save his wife and hundreds of innocent people taken hostage by Hans Gruber and his eleven men. John McLane should save the Nakatomi Plaza and kill Gruber. This movie is a classic action movie and a nail-biting movie too. It’s supposed to be a Christmas movie but I would say that if you are in the mood to watch an action movie with some thrill and some nail-biting and sitting-on-the-edge kind of a movie then I would really recommend you all to watch Die Hard. It is also an Oscar winning movie, so that could count as a plus point for you to watch this classic. There is also a Die Hard 2,3,4 & 5. Out of all the Die Hards. I would recommend the original Die Hard and Die Hard 3 and 4 as well. In Die Hard 3 it shows Hans Gruber’s brother taking vengeance of John McLane and in Die Hard 4. John McLane finds a cyberterrorist who is trying to dominate the US Government by causing a series of cyberattacks in Washington DC. You can watch Die Hard on Apple TV.
2. Olympus Has Fallen
Olympus Has Fallen (2013): Starring Gerard Butler, Morgan Freeman and Aaron Eckhart. Shows a former Secret Service Agent for the President named Mike Banning starring Gerard Butler, saves the President from a deadly attack on the White House from North Korean terrorists. Both the President and Vice-President are taken hostage at the Presidential Bunker with the Vice-President shot and the President about to die. Speaker Alan Trumbull played by Morgan Freeman is the acting President and oversees the White House Situation through Mike Banning’s help. This movie is my favorite action movie and maybe it’s another version of Die Hard but this time its a former Secret Service bodyguard who is trying to save the US President and stopping a North Korean agent named Kang from creating a nuclear meltdown all over America. If you haven’t watched this movie then I would suggest you to watch it and I would also suggest you to watch the entire fallen series consisting of the three movies: Olympus Has Fallen, London Has Fallen, Angel Has Fallen. I believe Olympus and London Has Fallen are on Netflix or Amazon Prime and Angel Has Fallen is on Lionsgate.
SWAT (2003) is a movie starring Jeremy Renner, Samuel L Jackson, Colin Farrel and Michelle Rodriguez. A SWAT Sergeant. Sergeant Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson picks and trains his SWAT team. When an overseas drug lord is caught by the SWAT, he announces that he would pay a large sum of money if someone rescues him. An ex-SWAT officer, Brian Gamble (Played by Jeremy Renner) takes revenge against the SWAT and plans to save the drug lord Alex Montel and defeat the SWAT, especially Gamble’s SWAT buddy. Officer Jim Street. Its an amazing action movie to sit back and watch. If you haven’t watched it yet then I would suggest you all to watch it right now on Netflix. One fun fact about this movie is that Jeremy Renner and Samuel L Jackson, later on play as protagonists in the movie ‘The Avengers’ with Sameul L Jackson as Nick Fury and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
